In 2005, the Cancercare Manitoba Foundation and their generous supporters, commissioned local businesses and artists to create 62 , 7 –foot tall, 8000lb, polar bears to celebrate the foundations 75^th anniversary. Hubert spent many hours not only creating five “bears with character” but also sanding and priming the bears in preparation for their final coat of paint.
